Spring is in the air, and Southern Belle invites guests to experience the Southeast’s diverse culinary talent during its quarterly “Bless Their Hearts” guest chefs dinner series on Sunday, April 23. This quarter’s dinner traverses the globe uniting flavors of the South with cuisine from Peru, Thailand and Korea.

During each dinner, Southern Belle chef and owner Joey Ward takes guests on a culinary journey with five talented chefs. During the multi-course dinner experience, each chef prepares one course. The dinner includes five featured courses plus an amuse-bouche for $170 per person (service-inclusive; excludes tax). Wine and non-alcoholic pairings are available as well as the restaurant’s full cocktail and beverage list.

A portion of the proceeds from the evening will be donated to No Kid Hungry, an organization that fights against childhood hunger in the United States. To date, the “Bless Their Hearts” dinner series has raised more than $10,000 for No Kid Hungry, making an enormous impact on the nonprofit’s ability to reach more children with healthy meals.

The dinner is limited to 70 guests with seatings between 4:30-8:30 p.m. Reservations can be made online via Resy.

ABOUT SOUTHERN BELLE

Southern Belle is chef Joey Ward's critically acclaimed restaurant in Atlanta’s Poncey-Highland neighborhood. Opened in fall 2019, Southern Belle is a place for friends to gather and experience true Southern hospitality. The restaurant features a four-course tasting menu comprised of locally sourced ingredients presented with Ward’s trademark culinary whimsy. The menu celebrates the community of people and farms who produce the amazing ingredients as well as the multi-cultural culinary influences of modern Atlanta. Southern Belle also offers seasonally inspired craft cocktails and expertly composed wine pairings by its resident sommelier. Southern Belle is connected through a secret passageway to Ward’s second restaurant Georgia Boy, a multi-course chef’s table experience.

ABOUT NO KID HUNGRY

No child should go hungry in America. But in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, one in six kids could face hunger. No Kid Hungry is working to end childhood hunger by helping launch and improve programs that give all kids the healthy food they need to thrive. This is a problem we know how to solve. No Kid Hungry is a campaign of Share Our Strength, an organization committed to ending hunger and poverty.
