Atlanta’s Art Community Joins Forces to Support Meals On Wheels Atlanta
Atlanta’s vibrant arts community is channeling its creativity toward a cause close to home — supporting seniors facing hunger.
Founded in 1965, Meals On Wheels Atlanta provides nutritious meals and essential support to older adults experiencing food insecurity and isolation. The organization currently has more than 800 seniors on its waiting list, underscoring the urgent need for community support.
To help close that gap, Meals On Wheels Atlanta has launched a special donation page inviting artists, galleries and art lovers to contribute. Every $14 donation provides meals for one senior for a day, turning creative energy into tangible care.
Atlanta’s arts community has long been a cornerstone of the city’s identity. Now, it’s proving that art can do more than inspire — it can nourish.
