Chichería Mexican Kitchen Unveils Weekly Brunch Buffet with Jazz Duo Beginning Sept. 28
Chichería Mexican Kitchen, Atlanta’s favorite destination for authentic Mexican cuisine, is slated to become West Midtown’s premier weekend brunch spot with the debut of its Jazz Brunch Buffet on Sunday, Sept. 28, 2025. Featuring a jazz duo, this traditional Mexican buffet developed by executive chef Joey Vazquez includes breakfast options, a variety of savory meats, rice, soups, Mexican breads, pastries, coffee and agua frescas, showcasing Vazquez’s creative interpretations of beloved Mexican dishes, as well as $5 mimosas and assorted bottle specials.
“We’re very excited to introduce guests to the experience of a traditional Mexican buffet,” says Vazquez. “We can’t wait for our guests to enjoy some of our new dishes alongside everything they’ve already come to know and love, like our fresh-made blue corn tortillas. And as always, everything on the menu is 100% gluten-free.”
As the new executive chef at Chichería, Vazquez brings authenticity to life with a modern Baja-style twist. He has a deep passion for fresh ingredients and innovative flavors and looks forward to sharing the following offerings at brunch:
Soups: Pozole and menudo
Tacos and tostadas: Sope and handmade tortillas, rice and black beans, ceviche and condiments including guacamole, salsa roja, salsa verde, pico de gallo and queso fresco
Hot dishes: Carnitas, chicken mole, carne asada, chorizo con papas (potato and chorizo hash), chilaquiles, huevos rancheros and scrambled eggs
Sides and vegetables: Esquites (Mexican street corn salad) and mixed fruits
Baked goods: Sweet tamales, gluten-free chocolate croissants, flan and tres leches cake slices
Beverages: Agua frescas, coffee with cinnamon and Mexican hot chocolate
