Chichería Mexican Kitchen and Frazie's Meat & Market Team Up for Taco Takeover March 19-20, 2026

For two nights only, Chichería Mexican Kitchen is teaming up with Riverside’s Frazie’s Meat & Market for a special Taco Takeover celebrating smoked meats, handmade tortillas and neighborhood collaboration.

On Thursday, March 19 and Friday, March 20, 2026, founder and chef Mark Frazie will bring his signature smoked proteins to Chicheria’s kitchen, creating two exclusive tacos available only during this limited two-night event.

The collaboration highlights the craftsmanship of both Upper Westside brands — pairing Frazie’s high-quality smoked meats with Chicheria’s handmade blue corn tortillas for a menu that blends Southern barbecue flavors with Mexican street taco tradition.

Even better, the event gives back: 15% of featured taco sales will benefit Giving Kitchen, the Atlanta-based nonprofit supporting food service workers in crisis.

Featured Tacos

Smoked Pork Belly Burnt Ends Taco

Smoked pork belly burnt ends, chopped Frazie’s BBQ braised collard greens, pimento cheese crema and thin sliced pickled jalapeño on a charred corn tortilla.

Smoked Brisket Birria Taco

Smoked brisket braised in a roasted tomato and jalapeño broth, Oaxaca cheese,  diced white onion and fresh cilantro on a consommé-dipped fried corn tortilla, served with brisket consommé on the side.
