Boca for Cinco de Mayo Celebrations – May 5, 2025 - For a flavorful Cinco de Mayo celebration, Boca offers a lively atmosphere, a menu full of Mexican dishes, refreshing cocktails including $8 margaritas available Saturday, May 3 – Monday, May 5. It's the perfect spot to gather with friends and toast the occasion with festive bites and drinks.
Southern National – Mother’s Day (May 11, 2025) and Chef Duane Nutter Book Launch Dinner (May 22, 2025) - Celebrate mom with an indulgent three-course Mother’s Day brunch at Southern National, featuring favorites like SoNat beignets, a Florentine frittata and bourbon buttermilk pound cake. The prix-fixe menu is $80 per person (beverages additional). Later in the month, executive chef Duane Nutter’s book launch dinner takes place on May 22—a special evening of stand-up comedy with Nutter and a coursed dinner for $165 per person. Summerhill Sundays and Atlanta Streets Alive (May 18, 2025) On Sunday, May 18, Summerhill becomes a pedestrian paradise as Georgia Avenue closes for Atlanta Streets Alive. From 12-6 p.m., guests can explore more than 50 vintage and handmade vendors at Georgia Vintage Goods' Summerhill Sundays pop-up, offering unique finds and lively community energy.
Wood’s Chapel BBQ – Cinco de Mayo (May 3) and Memorial Day (May 26, 2025) - Wood’s Chapel BBQ kicks off Cinco de Mayo festivities a little early with a Tres de Mayo fiesta on Saturday, May 3 from 4-8 p.m. Guests will enjoy queso fundido ($8), al pastor tacos ($12), shrimp tacos ($13), frozen margaritas ($12), Monday Night Brewing beer specials and more.
