Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, the NYC-born, nationally beloved brand known for its cult-favorite dairy and vegan ice cream, is opening its second Atlanta-area scoop shop on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at The Forum, 5143 Peachtree Parkway NW in Peachtree Corners. The new store is located on the north end of the property, next to Politan Row and across from DSW.
"We're so excited to be opening at The Forum and continuing to grow in Atlanta," said Ben Van Leeuwen, co-founder and CEO. "We've always believed that great ice cream starts with great ingredients, like pistachios from Bronte, Sicily, hazelnuts from Piedmont, sun-ripened Oregon strawberries and more. That's how we've made ice cream since we started with one scoop truck in New York City in 2008, and we can't wait to share it with even more people here."
"We're thrilled to welcome Van Leeuwen’s second Georgia scoop shop to The Forum and continue expanding the property's lineup of sought-after brands and dining experiences. The Van Leeuwen team has built a loyal following and we can’t wait for the Peachtree Corners community to experience their premium product,” said Adam Schwegman, head of retail leasing at Jamestown.
To celebrate the grand opening on July 2, Van Leeuwen is offering $1 scoops from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., and the first 100 guests will receive a limited-edition Van Leeuwen tote bag.
Van Leeuwen is known nationally for its creative seasonal flavors and unexpected collaborations with Hidden Valley Ranch, Kraft Macaroni & Cheese and BIGFACE Coffee Affogato in partnership with NBA All-Star Jimmy Butler. The Forum shop will serve more than 30 signature flavors, including:
Award-winning Vanilla Bean (named best vanilla ice cream by The New York Times/Wirecutter)
Mango Sticky Rice
Honeycomb
Sicilian Pistachio (made with pistachios from Mount Etna in Sicily)
Marionberry Cheesecake (with berries from Oregon’s Stahlbush Island Farms)
Earl Grey Tea
Guests can also enjoy sundaes, milkshakes, house-made waffle cones, ice cream sandwiches, root beer floats and 14 oz pints to go.
Van Leeuwen’s The Forum scoop shop is located at 5143 Peachtree Parkway NW. The shop will be open Monday-Friday from 11 a.m.-11 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday from 11 a.m.-12 a.m. For more information about Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, follow the brand on Instagram @vanleeuwenicecream or visit vanleeuwenicecream.com.
About Van Leeuwen Ice Cream
Van Leeuwen began as a yellow scoop truck on the streets of NYC in 2008 by brothers Ben and Pete Van Leeuwen, and Laura O’Neill, who were on a mission to make good ice cream from good ingredients that makes you feel good. The brand is known for its French-style ice cream (made with more than double the amount of egg yolks as standard ice cream) innovative vegan options, and unexpected collaboration flavors. From its award-winning Vanilla Bean (named best vanilla ice cream by The New York Times/Wirecutter) to buzzworthy limited editions such as Kraft Mac & Cheese, Hidden Valley Ranch, and Espresso (with singer-songwriter Sabrina Carpenter), Van Leeuwen continues to push the boundaries of ice cream. The brand recently introduced Frozen Yogurt, done the Van Leeuwen way - applying the same sourcing ethos it brings to its ice cream. Van Leeuwen has scoop shops across the country, and its ice cream is available in grocery stores or for nationwide shipping from their website.
