Born in Savannah more than 20 years ago, Zunzibar grew up on one idea: great food, serious cocktails and a place to belong. The Middleton opening is the brand's fourth location and second Florida outpost, shaped by the neighborhood it calls home.
“Middleton felt like home the first time we walked the site,” said Tony Lang, vice president of operations. “There is a strong sense of community here and people genuinely care about where they live. We built this place to be claimed. Somewhere locals come back to, not somewhere they tick off a list. We are proud to call Middleton home too and cannot wait to welcome everyone through the doors.”
The kitchen leads with coastal plates made for the table. Signature offerings include smoked mahi dip, East Coast oysters, tuna ceviche, lobster roll sliders and blackened mahi tacos, alongside chef-driven seafood plates, fresh salads and handheld favorites. The bar carries the room from afternoon into evening with handcrafted cocktails built on freshness and consistency, featuring fresh juices, premium spirits and coastal-inspired flavors.
The space reads lived-in, not try-hard. Designed to photograph well because it was designed well, not for the photo. Come as you are. Bring anyone. Stay as long as the night lets you.
