Open Hand Atlanta’s 22nd Annual Party in the Kitchen returns on Thursday, Sept. 25, from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. at The Foundry at Puritan Mill. This premier culinary fundraiser features chef-curated tastings, craft cocktails, live and silent auctions and live music by The American Flyers. Returning chef co-chairs Peter Kaiser (Kaiser’s Chophouse) and Kevin Rathbun (Kevin Rathbun Steak) will be joined by featured chefs including Tyler Haake (Indaco), Billy Kramer (NFA Burger), Laura Orellana (Osteria Mattone), Chris Hall (Local Three Kitchen & Bar), Matthew Basford (Canoe), Patric Good (Vino Venue), Joseph Harrison (Aria) and many more of Atlanta’s finest.
Before the main event, a VIP Patron Reception will be held on Thursday, Aug. 21, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Open Hand’s new James A. Carlos Family Community Nutrition Center, offering a behind-the-scenes look at how donor support is transforming lives, plus an exclusive live auction. Tickets for the main event start at $300 (increasing to $350 after Aug. 25), and the Patron Reception Package, which includes two tickets and access to both events, starts at $2,000. All proceeds support Open Hand’s programs delivering medically tailored meals and nutrition education to Georgians facing chronic illness and food insecurity.
