Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, the nationally beloved brand known for its French-style dairy and vegan ice cream, has officially opened its first Georgia scoop shop at Ponce City Market. To celebrate National Ice Cream Day on Sunday, July 20, the new Atlanta location is offering $3 single scoops of its cult-favorite honeycomb flavor from 12-2 p.m., marking the 10th anniversary of the flavor. Van Leeuwen began as a scoop truck in New York City in 2008 and has since grown to include scoop shops across 12 states and nationwide grocery availability.
