Gerry Klaskala’s Final Dinner Service at Aria Set for June 14
Chef Gerry Klaskala will take his final bow in Aria’s kitchen on June 14, 2025, marking the end of a remarkable culinary era in Atlanta. As chef and co-owner, Klaskala has spent the past 25 years turning Aria into one of the city’s most celebrated fine dining destinations, following decades of leading iconic kitchens like Canoe and Buckhead Diner. His retirement coincides with Aria’s 25th anniversary and paves the way for longtime general manager Andrés Loaiza to take over as owner/operator. Klaskala plans to return to his artistic roots in retirement, leaving behind a legacy of culinary excellence, mentorship and deep commitment to his team and guests. A new executive chef will be announced soon.
