National Oyster Day on Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2025, is the perfect excuse to slurp, sip and celebrate summer with Atlanta’s favorite oyster destinations. Toast National Oyster Day at Ocean & Acre with oysters and martinis for the ultimate summer evening. From 5-8 p.m., guests who order a Fords Gin martini will receive three complimentary freshly shucked oysters. All day long, $2 oysters will be available for a laid-back afternoon or lively evening with friends.

The Big Ketch Saltwater Grill is stretching the holiday into two full days of shuckin’ and sippin’ on Monday, Aug. 4, and Tuesday, Aug. 5. Specials include $2 oysters all day, $8 frozen piña coladas for a tropical twist and $30 bottles of Whitehaven Sauvignon Blanc, perfectly crisp and refreshing with fresh seafood.
