National Tequila Day is Thursday, July 24, 2025, and Atlanta’s top restaurants are shaking things up with a festive lineup of margarita deals, infused tequila features, DJ sets and one-night-only dinners. Whether looking for a classic margarita or to sip through premium pours and handcrafted cocktails, these celebrations are worth toasting.
Multiple Locations
Tin Lizzy’s is also teaming up with Teremana to serve up $8 Teremana margaritas as the main event, along with $9 infused margaritas (pineapple jalapeño, mango tajin or hibiscus ginger) and $5 shorty shots. Guests will enjoy DJ sets at select locations: East Cobb and Perimeter from 6-9 p.m. and Midtown, Downtown and Kennesaw from 7-10 p.m.
Marlow’s Tavern is celebrating with an all-day happy hour special featuring Olmeca Altos Blanco tequila for just $5. Guests can enjoy it their way—as a house margarita, tequila spritz, on the rocks or served neat—making it easy to raise a glass to tequila, no matter the style.
Buckhead
Chido & Padre’s is partnering with Teremana for a tequila celebration featuring $8 Teremana margaritas and $9 infused margaritas in bold flavors like pineapple jalapeño, hibiscus or pickle. For those who prefer to sip straight, $5 Teremana shorty shots will be available all night. A DJ spins from 6-9 p.m., setting the scene for a spirited night of sips and sounds. Buena Vida Tapas Bar is offering all margaritas for $12 on July 24. Guests can choose from five distinct styles, including the classic (El Jimador Blanco), premium (Herradura Blanco), spicy (Tanteo Jalapeño & Chipotle), passionfruit (El Jimador Reposado with mint and cacao) and strawberry (El Jimador Reposado with ginger and lime). West Midtown & Upper Westside
Chichería Mexican Kitchen in The Works is celebrating tequila and the flavors of Baja with a one-night-only dinner in partnership with Casa Noble. On July 24 at 6:30 p.m., guests will enjoy a guided tasting of four premium organic tequilas, plus a full-size Casa Noble margarita. The four-course “Backpacking Through Baja” dinner includes a choice of appetizer, two tacos with rice and beans and dessert. Tickets are $50 plus tax and gratuity. Reservations can be made online.
The Woodall gets a head start on the celebration with a special Tequila Ocho Dinner on Tuesday, July 22. Guests will enjoy an amuse bouche and sparkling welcome at 6:30 p.m., followed by a four-course dinner paired with neat pours and cocktails featuring Tequila Ocho’s plata, añejo and reposado. Wylie & Rum brings island vibes to National Tequila Day with two bold features available only on July 24. Tequila Me Softly is a citrusy sipper made with El Jimador Blanco, fresh lime juice, passion fruit purée and agave, served over ice with a Tajín rim for $11. For a quick hit of sunshine, guests can go for the Call Me El J shot special: a chilled shot of El Jimador Blanco with a pineapple-lime chaser and a Tajín-dusted lime wedge for just $7.
