Gypsy Kitchen Reimagines Brunch Service to Offer a Mediterranean-Inspired Weekend Escape
Gypsy Kitchen, the beloved Buckhead destination known for its pan-Mediterranean flair, is ushering in a bold new era of brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. Executive chef David Yamaguchi has crafted a vibrant new menu, inviting Atlantans to reimagine their weekend rituals with his playful Mediterranean twist on brunch mainstays, along with a series of spirited Sunday activations.
“Gypsy Kitchen is a transportive restaurant, so we want to offer a sense of adventure in every bite,” says Yamaguchi. “Our new brunch menu is indulgent, shareable and above all, full of unexpected flavor.”
Yamaguchi offers a fresh perspective shaped in award-winning West Coast kitchens and MICHELIN-recognized restaurants. At Gypsy Kitchen, he’s curated a refined, yet relaxed, brunch menu that playfully infuses pan-Mediterranean flavors into brunch favorites.
Small plates include:
Mediterranean yogurt parfait with seasonal fruit, lavender honey and walnut-honey granola
Cinnamon roll with date-honey butter and cardamom-spiced cream cheese
Avocado toast layered with za’atar and tomato-onion salad, with an optional poached egg
Signature large plates highlight:
Brioche French toast adorned with rose petals, pistachios and cardamom chantilly cream
Moroccan-spiced chicken & waffle with spiced butter and guindilla peppers
Brunch burger featuring lamb kofta, marinated feta and a fried egg on a brioche bun
Complementing the food menu is a curated selection of brunch beverages, including:
Wanderer’s wake-up iced coffee with optional flavor infusions like sesame cream or pistachio
Garden variety bloody mary, elevated with basil, garlic and blue cheese olives
Mimosa juice flight featuring guava lemonade, tangerine and blood orange, paired with a bottle of Mionetto prosecco
Every Sunday from July 13 through Sept. 28, 2025, the brunch experience extends beyond the plate with DJs and live musicians alongside specialty cocktail activations from top brands such as Aperol, Ketel One and St-Germain. Guests can look forward to unwinding over a watermelon mint spritz or a Levantine espresso martini with a sesame-sweet cream and pistachio rim.
“Weekends at Gypsy Kitchen are meant to celebrate connection,” says Yamaguchi. “Brunch is a meal where people tend to linger a little longer and take the time to connect, so we wanted to create a dining experience that is meant to be shared and savored,” he adds.
